Thank you so much for visiting my online store. Alongside undertaking custom commissions I am continually working on my own collection of nature inspired works. Inspiration for my pieces stems from a love of native flora and fauna and the quirky moments in everyday life. I create from life memories, moments and imaginings to compose and paint original art that evokes nostalgia and explores connections and definitions of home.
I create using an array of materials including graphite pencils, ink pens and archival quality watercolour and sometimes gouache paints. Occasionally I use accents of gilding to communicate just how precious my subjects are. I adore beautiful textured hand made papers and always use beautifully textured archival acid free watercolour papers of the highest quality. I love intricate detail and find this is my way of really understanding and connecting with my subject matter, my creative process and intrinsic artistic taste.
